As I create my art, I incorporate my experiences and my people's, hoping others will view my photography as sacred or healing. I want to emphasize the importance of change and the learning that comes from people's diverse experiences. My goal is not to force compliance but to persuade by creating moving experiences that prompt others to question the world as it is and to imagine a world as it could be if we unite for a more diverse perspective.
