Land Installations

These land art installations are a tribute to Tapahe's ancestral connection with the land. To create circular shapes and passageways, Tapahe repeatedly walked on the land in a meditative and ritualistic pattern. The forms align with the Earth’s four sacred directions, embedding the art with the world. The spherical symbols represent the contours and movements of the land and water, while the center is an offering to Mother Earth.
